ARTIFACT:
1970’s Department of Defense police shoulder patch. The dark blue twill embroidered patch reads: “DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE POLICE” and is backed with treated gauze.

Circa 1970’s

Approximately 4” x 2”
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Embroidered twill, cotton/polyester/silk thread, gauze backing

7+ (Very Fine+): The watch patch shows minor to moderate wear, small areas of soiling on ‘M’ in department and ‘P’ in police, was removed from clothing.
