    Description

    2 7" diameter plates that are identical except for colors.  One is brown and one a forest green.  Both show the mill with the name at the top and town name on the bottom,  The back has a stamp from E.P. Allan.
    Erastus P. Allan, who is listed in Boyd’s Newport Directory 1874-75, was listed as a dealer in “Crockery and Queensware” and was located at 63 and 65 Thames St.
