This auction is for a
PAIR OF Sioux Man's Moccasins.
Beaded in beautiful colors of a blue background with a center green and orange star, and trimmed in red, yellow and orange. Colors are fantastic! Sole has the following provenance: Sioux Pine Ridge SD to H.? Doolittle by Cliff Thorberg 1935. Given the fact that they were gifted in 1935 I believe they already had some age (especially judging from the condition of the sole which indicates that they were worn) Conducting an inconclusive research, I came upon these names mentioned in Sioux City. Real beauties!
