Nice footrest with engraving. Four-pass, bulbous body with four graceful feet and a profiled edge. Two opposing tongue handles with rolled ends. The outside of the wall was engraved with "CANDID & CAPABLE 2nd COUPLE", the handles with an "O" under the crown and the year "1932". Probably won as a prize in a competition.
Marked, made by Cooper Brothers & Sons in Scheffield / England, in 1930. Very good condition.
