    Description

This is a very attractive pair of early Plateau area moccasins with contour beaded balanced floral elements, circa 1880 to 1890s, or so. Mocs are 10" long and feature small beads and some faceted beads that are thread sewn onto soft native tanned hide. They have rawhide soles that show some native use. The cuffs are pieces of old red flannel trade cloth in great condition, and they have remnants of pale blue silk edging that has mostly worn off from age and use. Bead colors are grass green, forest green, greasy yellow, cobalt blue, white, and white-heart reds, and some of the colors are clears. The beadwork is complete with no missing beads and no replaced beads. The hide is in very good condition with no holes or tears, and it has just a bit of discoloration from use. These are good early moccasins, and they were just found in New England. Shipping is .50 Priority mail. There is a 30 day money back inspection period, and email for more information. Thank you.
