    Description

MICKEY MOUSE incomplete vinyl Colorforms 1971 vtg beat-up toy Daisy Duck Pluto
This is a previously-owned, incomplete set of ‘MICKEY MOUSE’ Colorforms, created by Colorforms Corporation in 1971 (catalog #465). The box shows a lot of wear-and-tear and the set is missing two pieces (one of Donald’s arms and a candle)...
Mickey Mouse is an Academy Award-winning cartoon character who has become an icon for The Walt Disney Company. He was created in 1928 by Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney and has become one of the most recognizable symbols in the world.
Colorforms are paper-thin, die-cut vinyl sheet images and shapes that can be applied to a slick cardboard background board, much like placing paper-dolls against a paper backdrop. The images stick to the background via static cling and can be repositioned to create new scenes. The original box sets began appearing in the 1950s and feature bright shapes and “modern” basic designs, but during the 1970s, the company expanded into cartoon character sets supporting various TV series and movie releases.
    My Policies:
We offer several different shipping options and accept Paypal (and we do indeed combine shipping). We take pride in carefully packaging purchases -- almost always in bubble-wrap and/or specially-made boxes...
Customer satisfaction rules, and making sure customers conclude a gratifying transaction is what we aim for at Glass Eye Industries. We’ve been executing appraisals, working with liquidators and buying estates for well over two decades; we’re confident we know what we’re doing and we price fairly, based on availability, collectible-value and demand. All of our items are guaranteed -- to the best of our knowledge -- to be authentic and licensed pieces. In fact, we go to great lengths to accurately photograph, research and describe the items we sell.
We are very diligent -- with people checking product on the way in and the way out; however, on occasion, minute imperfections are sometimes unavoidable (hence, refunds can only be given in cases of complete misrepresentation).
We take feedback seriously… if you encounter a problem with your Ebay item once it is received, please contact us before leaving negative or neutral comments, and we will work through the problem. We always combine shipping, as we too are buyers (just like you!). We realize that postage prices have gone up substantially, as have the price of high-quality mailing envelopes and packaging materials; our shipping prices reasonably reflect that inflation. Please do not criticize and/or give us low marks for our “shipping and handling charges” after buying. If you do not agree with the shipping charge, simply do not buy. It’ll make it much easier for both of us...
